Leaving Sweden

After one and a half years of living in the beautiful land of  Sweden, the time came for me to leave and head for new lands. Five weeks in Jordan excavating at Tell Abu Al-Kharaz, an ancient archaeological site in the Jordan Valley, my girlfriend and I went back to Sweden for a week, packed our bags, and and spent the rest of our time visiting my girlfriend’s (Amanda) grandma, of 92 years of age.

The view is quite nice!

And here's the little tomte that guards the house. Actually, that's Amanda.

After visiting grandma for a couple of days and spending cosy nights by the fire  in the cottage next door, while temperatures dropped sub-zero outside, we left again for Gothenburg to finalize our packing and take the next step… to Malta.
