I do not have a strict definition of “old maps” in my mind. The closest thing is perhaps to define old maps as anything outdated in a political, geographical, and historical sense. I’m sure this definition is flawed in more ways than one but, hey!, my website, my rules. Enjoy these free, old, public domain maps!
For now I am ordering these maps by age rather than by location. In the future I will be fixing this to allow users to search by country/continent/region and also by date, as well as perhaps other attributes.
